The purpose of this thread is to track your species contest entries that are not allowed in the actual species contest. This thread is just for FUN.
Baitfish (shad, shiners, sucker minnows, chubs, etc) are allowed. Turtles (caught in the water), mud puppies and other (water residing) reptiles and amphibians are all allowed. Crustaceans and shell fish allowed (zebra muscles, crayfish, clams, etc).
Lamprey, leaches, and other parasites that are attached to a fish are allowed.
No winged or land living living creatures allowed (ducks, geese, snakes, muskrats, etc).
Again, this thread is just for fun. Please don't target aquatic living reptiles and amphibians and if you accidentally catch one of these animals, please do your best to return it unharmed to the water (after a photo (with the species contest logo), of course).
Eligible entries must be caught with a rod, reel, line, and hook. No netting or trapping. No store/baitshop bought entries accepted.
All entries should be in this thread (Do not start a new thread for this). Simply reply to this thread with your picture (with the species contest logo in clear view). Keep a number tally with each picture you submit to this forum so I can easily keep an accurate count. I will keep track of who has the most entries and add them to the leaderboard below.
No prizes will be awarded for this contest, hence just for fun!
